Why don't I use the term servant leadership? Leaders serve teams so why not use it? I think it misses a huge point in which leadership is all about. Ultimately the leader is accountable for the outcome. A servant in the purest form of the word serves. Being a leader is not just that, one of the challenges and "burdens" of being a leader is to drive results and outcomes, it's what's expected of you! Don't get me wrong, there is a component of leading that does serve, but it's not the entire job. As with anything in life there are pros and cons to servant leadership, like with any leadership style. Watch this video to find out more and leave a message below and tell me what you think.
